Recently Added Component
The Recently Added component allows you to showcase your recently added entries. These can be text based or thumbnails. This is dependant on what you have set for your archiving - either by thumbnail or by text links.

The instructions below are only applicable to basic templates. All control over your recently added thumbnails for advanced templates is handled within the <tmpl_var name="comp_recently"> tag. For a full list of features available within this tag, click the "Tags" link above the "Template HTML" text area within the Advanced Template Editor.

Under Blog Menu, click "Recently Added".
Number to Display: From the drop down menu select the number of entries to showcase in your "Recently Added" section. The maximum number you can display is 14.
Layout Type: Select how your Recently Added thumbnails or text links will be displayed from the drop down menu. Your Recently Added items can be listed horizontally or vertically.
Click "Update" to save your changes.
