Putting Your Blog Page on Your Own Domain

You will need to have purchased your own domain, such as: mydomain.com. Expressions does not purchase domain names for you, nor do we host domain names. If you have this, as well as the ability to upload or edit the files on your own domain (ie: mydomain.com/index.html) then you're half way there!

Note:
Before you upload a page to your domain host you should make a copy of the page if one already exists on the host.

Next to each page on your main blog page listing (click on "PAGES" under "MAIN MENU" to get there), you will see an option to "View HTML". Click on this.

Click on View HTML

A new window will pop up. Select all the code within this window and copy it ( Edit > Copy). Now, open up your text editor or WYSIWYG program to create your index.html file for your own domain. Create a new page and paste in the code you have just copied ( Edit > Paste ). Save this page as index.html (if you want it to be on your front/home page) and upload this file to your own domain. Now, when you go to mydomain.com, you will see your blog page!
